Prerequisites
Process owners need to prioritise requirements and assess data quality. Migration needs test data, result checks and a rollback plan. Rights to code and data must be set out in the agreement.
Scope and limits
A full ERP is a separate project. Accounting, payroll and regulatory compliance are not automatically included. Custom development makes sense when its value justifies development and long-term maintenance.
